A Poem

i dropped the mic – picked up my pen

and wrote

until ease was squoze into every moment

and wrote

until the tingling feeling of numbness passed

and wrote

until inner dissatisfaction deemed

and wrote

until love found me

and wrote

until writing was no longer fulfilling

and wrote

until picking up the mic

was the only option
